Local Student Artists Project

The W.B. Konkle Memorial Library, in partnership with the Montoursville Area School District, is proud to present the Local Student Artists Project. This initiative, launched in the fall of 2024, highlights the exceptional creativity of our local youth and fosters a stronger connection to the library. By providing a platform for Montoursville students to share their artwork, we hope to inspire and educate our community.

Thanks to the generosity of area donors, the library walls are now a showcase for student art. Each piece, carefully chosen by Montoursville art teachers for its originality and storytelling, is part of a rotating exhibit. Patrons, students and the public are encouraged to stop by throughout the year to celebrate our young artists.

The students whose artwork is selected are honored with a small reception and a certificate from the library.
